Battlestar's Mary McDonnell and Michael Hogan to talk cybernetics at Science Festival

Battlestar Galactica cast members Mary McDonnell and Michael Hogan will take part in a World Science Festival panel on artificial intelligence and ethics on Friday in New York.

The will join leading roboticists Kevin Warwick and Hod Lipson in a live program that explores the rapidly developing world of cybernetics.

The World Science Festival, which runs Wednesday through Sunday, is a celebration of imagination, ingenuity and inventiveness that takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets, theaters, museums, parks and public halls of New York.

From the Bronx to Lower Manhattan, in nearly two dozen venues and through a wide assortment of entertaining and interactive events, people from every walk of life come together to learn about science and state-of-the-art research and to discuss some of the most pressing issues of our time.
